We’re proud to have launched a new website and social media campaign for a great new initiative to combat noisy, inefficient and unsafe tyres on our roads.
The Campaign for Better Tyres aims to encourage individuals, businesses and the public sector to switch to energy efficient, low noise tyres which are also safe and durable.
The campaign is being co-ordinated by Environmental Protection UK (EPUK), a national charity that provides expert policy analysis and advice on air quality, land quality, waste, noise and climate change.
We’ve worked with EPUK over the past few months on branding and offline marketing for the campaign, as well as the design and build of the supporting website, which includes a supporters’ wall with Facebook and Twitter integration, allowing visitors to the site to pledge their support with one click. We’ve also made it easy for people to spread the word and follow progress of the campaign.
The campaign was launched in March 2011 by the Transport Minister and has already seen considerable interest from the national press, as well as a swell of social media activity.
